Red Shamrock
- celtic music (since 2000)
The wild growing
Red Shamrock spreads across all celtic regions from Ireland to
the British Isles, along Brittany to Galizia and further on.
Altough there is no Irish blood in their veins, there is fire
in their hearts and the five young musicians catch the spirit
of their audience by performing their own impressive music and
arrangements in an extraordinary fiery way. With an exciting
combination of chant and instruments like flutes, pipes, whistles,
fiddle, guitar, bouzouki, bass and double bass, as well as percussion
and bodhràn, their performance is always unique, lively
and chatching. The ensemble enjoys a fine reputation on the flowering
Swiss Folk Scene.
